Matthew 28:19 - "Go ye therefore and teach all nations..."
Fragrance Of Glory Assembly (FOGA) is driven by the divine mandate given by God through our Presiding Bishop, Dr. Marcel Uchenna Onuigbo SNR. Our mission is:
To nurture and disciple new converts, establishing them in the faith of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We invest in authentic relationships with others. We serve one another, love our community, and share the love of Jesus, desiring others to know Him. We believe that following Jesus compels us to give sacrificially—our time, energy, and possessions—for the sake of God's kingdom.
The following are the core beliefs of Fragrance Of Glory Assembly based on foundational truths from the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry flow from these biblical doctrines:
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.
There is one God, eternally existent and revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return to earth in power and glory.
Though originally good, man willingly fell into sin and is now inherently evil and depraved apart from the saving work of Jesus Christ.
Every person can restore fellowship with God through 'salvation,' achieved by trusting Christ through faith, repentance, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.
We practice two ordinances:
The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing in response to believing prayer.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
The Holy Spirit sanctifies and enables believers to live a holy life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
